Welcome to my world

I cannot remember precisely when I started to write, but I must have been very young. It always seemed easier to put words on paper than to share my thoughts out loud. After years of keeping those lines in drawers, I was ready to share them with the outside world and decided to get published. I now see each moment of life as an experience to partake in. In our lives, we encounter common themes, like love, loss, happiness, or misery. The details might be different, but the feelings are universal.

There are several things that I want to attempt as far as writing goes. I’ve published two poetry collections and a play, and I'm now attempting to tackle a novel. Ironically, I do not really like reading non-fiction works. I like books where I learn something, so I prefer biographies and historical stories.

I have had this idea for a novel for a while, and it was time to let it out. I’m twenty-four chapters in, and I now have a clear sense of the ending. No title yet, but the story is taking shape. It’s about a young man whose life plan unravels when he falls for someone unexpected, forcing him to rethink everything.

I have also already mapped out the story for the next one. And there is one more idea titillating my imagination. I don't want words to linger around my head and not reach open eyes and ears. To be continued…
